Order of Battle

HQ 4 figures and Jeep, HQ Co. with HQ-Section (4 fig., Jeep) and Antitank-Platoon with 1x57mm antitank - gun or (since 1943) 2 Bazooka - Teams, A,B,C-Company each with 12 fig., D-Company with 2x HMG, 2x 81mm mortar and Service-Section with 1 LKW.  Bataillon  may be transported with LKW. As Armoured Bataillon with halftrack.  

Die US – Infanterie trug in Europa im Wesentlichen eine von 2 Uniformen: Entweder die frühe Uniform mit Khaki Jacket und olive-drab Hose .....
 

US - infantry had one of two kind of uniforms: The early one with a Khaki Jacket and olive-drab trousers ....
 

.... oder die spätere oliv-grüne Uniform. Meine Infantry Bataillons tragen beide Uniformen gemischt durcheinander.

HQ and HQ-Company

Das US Bataillon hatte sowohl ein HQ ...

... wie auch eine HQ-Company.

Offiziere tragen Pistolen und teilweise Mpi, ansonsten tragen Soldaten der HQ- und Nachschubtruppen vorzugsweise  den leichten M1 Carbine.

Officers were equipped with Pisitols and somtimes with Mpi, other Soldiers of HQ and support mostly with M1 Carbine.

Die HQ-Company enthielt auch ein AT-Platoon mit 57 mm Antitank Gun. Nach 1942 wurde teilweise die 57 mm Antitank Gun zu Hause gelassen und die Soldaten des AT-Platoons stattdessen mit Bazooka ausgerüstet.

The HQ Company had an integrated AT-Platoon with 57mm Antitank gun. After 1942 those anti tank guns  seems to be often replaced by bazookas.

A -Company

Die US – Infantry Company ist 12 Figuren stark. Der Commander und die Platoonleader sind mit M1 Carbine oder Mpi bewaffnet. Die GI´s sind überwiegend mit M1 Garand bewaffnet, ein Soldat pro Zug trägt das schwere Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR).

US Infantry Company with 12 figures. Commander and platoon leader are equipped with M1 carbine or Mpi. GI´s are eqipped with M1 Garand, one soldier of each platoon with Brownig Automatic Rifle (BAR).

B-Company ist prinzipiell wie  A-Company ausgerüstet. Der Company Commander verzichtet auf eine Mpi und trägt nur Pistole Colt Government .

B-Company equipped as A-Company. The Company Commander uses no Mpi and is only equipped with Colt Government Pistol.

C-Company ist wie A- und B-Company ausgerüstet.

C-Company equipped as A- and B-Company.

Die schwere Kompanie des US- Bataillon war mit  Browning .30cal  MG und 81 mm mortars ausgerüstet. Demgemäß besteht meine  Heavy Company aus Company Leader, Forward Observer, 2x heavy MG und 2 x 81mm mortars mit Bedienung.

The heavy Company of the US Bataillon is equipped with Browning  .30cal MG and 81 mm mortar. My heavy Co therefore has a Company Leader, 2 x HMG and 2x 81mm mortar with crew.

Die Nachschubeinheit wurde teilweise als Service Section, teilweise als Service Company oder auch Support Section bezeichnet. Anders als bei den deutschen Infantrieeinheiten, deren Nachschub größtenteils noch mit Pferdefuhrwerken  fuhren, waren die  allierten Einheiten durchweg mit LKW ausgerüstet.

The Service Section, sometimes called Service Company or Support Section was equipped with LKW. German Infantry Support Sections of this time still mostly were horse driven.
